Ilanjo is a project led by brothers Lior and Noam exploring collaborative composition, fusing together their contrasting approaches to writing.
Noam Solomons-Wise is a drummer, composer and improviser based in London. In 2022 Noam was a semi-finalist in BBC Young Jazz Musician. His past musical projects includes The Joseph Septet, his contemporary jazz ensemble based in Cambridge performing his own arrangements and compositions, including at the Cambridge Jazz Festival 2022. He also founded the highly successful Cambridge University Jazz Society which continues to thrive to this day since his move to London. Noam is a graduate in Music from the University of Cambridge and is midway through studies at the Royal Academy of Music.
Lior Solomons-Wise is jazz pianist from London, graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and winner of the 2023 Dankworth prize for jazz composition. Lior is actively part of London’s vibrant jazz scene, leading his own quartet amongst various other projects. Performing highlights include, Ronnie Scott's, Pizza Express Jazz club Soho, 606 Club, the Vortex Jazz Club and the EFG Jazz Festival.
