Is the Pool and Lido under threat?

Bradford Council’s leisure services, including the Ilkley Pool and Lido are now under review to generate a saving of/ or an income of 1.25M in 24/25 (that 1/4 of the whole budget)

What is the future for the Pool and Lido?

We are at the very early stages of developing options so that we can respond quickly to the BMDC review, and proactively influence the outcome. Whilst we are exploring options for community ownership there is of course the possibility that the Pool and Lido remain in public services.

Who is leading this from Ilkley?

A group of local residents and stakeholders, including sports clubs.
