This much-loved, family-friendly event is back—and better than ever! Discover our beautiful venue after dark as the nature reserve is transformed by professionally designed lighting displays, vibrant colours, and atmospheric music.

For 2026, discover new elements along the trail as you explore the woodlands all the way around the lake, with stunning views from every side.

Enjoy our cosy Art Deco Tearooms, open all evening with plenty of treats and drinks and don't miss the fire pits on the terrace—perfect for toasting marshmallows under the stars.

Wrap up warm and come and enjoy an unforgettable evening with the whole family.

• Every Friday – Sunday: 10th January – 8th February | 4:30pm, 5:15pm or 6:00pm
• Every Day: 13th February – 22nd February | 5:30pm, 6:15pm or 7:00pm

• Children (5 - 15 years): £8.50
• Children under 5: Free

Please note: If Eventbrite is only showing children's tickets, this indicates that the timeslot you have selected is sold out, please consider an alternative time to attend. Adult tickets are allocated based on parking capacity.

On the Day

Free parking: Parking is available on site. Please car share where possible.

Timed entry: To avoid congestion on the trails, please arrive at the start of your selected time slot.

Arrival and Check-In: Arrive at The Blue Pool at your chosen time slot and show your ticket confirmation email (on your phone or printed) to our event team.

Enjoy! Follow the Illuminate trail and enjoy a visit to our Tearooms. Our Art Deco Tearooms will be serving refreshments throughout the evening. Warm up inside, or outside by the fire pits on the terrace and toast marshmallows as you enjoy the magical surroundings.

Last entry: Access onto the light trail closes 30 minutes before the event end time. The gates and car park will close at the event end time.

Please note there may be a queue when you arrive.

Important

Trail conditions: Whilst the trails (in dry conditions) are wheelchair accessible and suitable for prams, please note the terrain is uneven due to the natural woodland setting. Additionally, wet weather can cause muddy conditions, so we recommend checking the weather conditions before booking. Please note the rope bridge is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams, however there is an alternative path around it so that the lights at that section of the trail can still be enjoyed.

Dog-friendly: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome, but are not permitted to cross the rope bridge. Please clean up after them, dog waste bins are available on the trail.

Winter evening event: We recommend dressing warmly, wearing appropriate footwear, and bringing a torch for any unlit sections of the trail.

Refunds: If you are no longer able to attend the event, a full refund (exc. Eventbrite booking fees) can be requested via Eventbrite no later than 7 days prior to the date of your visit.
