As part of Illuminate: Sacred Threads, join artist Safira for an inspiring introduction to linocut and printmaking. These workshops explore how the bold, hands-on process of carving and printing can be a powerful way to express personal journeys and reflect on themes of mental health, faith, and art.
Across three creative Sunday afternoons, you’ll learn the fundamentals of linocut—designing, carving, and printing your own imagery—while experimenting with layers, textures, and patterns. Each print you create becomes a visual story, capturing both process and reflection.
No previous printmaking experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
