The English Association is delighted to share with you the Illuminated Text, a free resource created by Dr Rob Myles.
The Illuminated Text is a free resource from The Stratford Festival in Ontario, Canada, conceived and created by Dr. Rob Myles, which breaks down Hamlet's "look here upon this picture" speech across four dimensions - Rhythm, Rhetoric, Sound & Imagery, interpreting the text visually through calligraphic street art, animation and sound design, before opening up a fifth dimension to empower students to explore text visually in their own unique way.
Dr. Rob Myles is a multi-award-winning director, actor and teaching artist. Creator of Original Parallels, The Shakespeare Deck, Illuminated Text, The Show Must Go Online, and the Owning Shakespeare Podcast.
