Illustration & Screen printing

You are invited to a two part illustration and screen printing workshop with Lucy Dickson.
In the first Wednesday evening session you will be exploring simple and fun illustration techniques with the opportunity to screen print your designs in the second session on the following Wednesday.
All material are included plus, you get to keep your prints!
this workshop is for everyone and anyone who has an interest in screen printing and illustration. There is no level of experience required as you will be doing observational drawing & illustration and all the materials are supplied for you to use.
If you want to, you can bring your own paper, pens and pencils.
The first session will cover observational illustration and the thought process behind screen printing. Lucy will then take your work away and prepare it to screen print in the second session.
Date: Wednesdays, starts 12 April 2017 6.00-8.00pm
Length: 2 weeks (2 evenings)
Price: £60 covers your materials and workshop time.
Level: All levels
Lucy is an illustrator who works primarily with screen printing.
Her studio is currently based in Printhaus in Cardiff and you can also find her work in independant shops and on the walls of creative studios in South Wales. Lucy also runs Creative engagement workshops in her hometown of Hereford
She is passionate about engaging people in creativity in a welcoming and fun environment.
Venue & ticket
Rabble Studio is located in Cardiff Bay. We're on Bute Street and the entrance is the big black door between Premier Store & Trumps Sandwich. If you ring the buzzer we'll let you in & then you need to make your way up to the third floor.
Tickets are non-refundable. This is a ticketed event so you'll need one before you arrive. Ticket sales end 1 hour before the workshop.
Ticket price covers the cost of running the workshop - workshop fee, utilities and refreshments.
