Bristol’s illustrator meet-up, PIP, is popping up at Zinezilla with a zine-making workshop with an illustrative twist.
Learn how to make a mini-zine with Bristol illustrators Dave Bain & Jess Knights. You’ll be guided through various ways to fold, cut and combine paper to create your own zine.
And, as an extra (optional) illustrative twist we’ll be encouraging you to theme your zine by exploring, manipulating and playing with popular illustration tropes. Not sure what an “illustration trope” is? Don’t worry, all will be explained. Who knows, maybe your zine will become your go-to trope reference for future illustration projects.
All materials are provided, but feel free to bring favourite drawing materials, should you wish.
Please note: This workshop is designed for 18+ adults who’ve an interest in illustration or are illustrators. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
This workshop is 1.15-3.15pm.
The workshop is free, as part of your entry to Zinezilla (see below).
Donations are welcomed to help cover materials.
Please sign-up (here on Eventbrite), to guarantee your space.
Zinezilla runs from 11am - 6pm on Sunday 7 Sept.
Entry to Zinezilla is £3 - tickets here: https://hdfst.uk/e123090
