On Wednesdays in July, the ILP Technical Manager, Guy Harding, who is a Membership assessor, interviewer and past Chair of the Membership Committee will be holding some lunchtime workshops on the membership upgrade process.
The free-to-attend “Upgrade your Lunch” sessions are designed to help candidates going through the upgrade process with the submissions required, by the ILP and the Engineering Council. Held over lunchtimes on Teams and lasting about an hour, they will certainly improve upon your normal “Meal Deal”!

How to Prepare for your Upgrade Interview – All candidates are required to attend an interview as part of the process. For individual route candidates this will be in two parts, the first being on your Technical Report, before proceeding to the Professional Review, which is the interview all candidates must attend. Guy will outline the process, explain how to prepare and try to allay any nerves. Both interviews are informal and without any trick questions. Lots of time for questions will be available.
