After the massacre at the Fae wedding, the settlers of Yondrmyr return to find their village in ruins and the entity gone. Stones-in-the-Grove, the Sylvan elder who led them to safety, addresses them as they regroup.

“I’ve been trying to find the source of this corruption, this growing presence on the island. All the communes are suffering. The forests are withering, the tundra is decaying, the mountains are restless, and the marsh is sick with blight. Sylvan are losing their minds to this rot, and we need answers. I’ve called a Moot - a gathering of all the communes. When the elders arrive in the Summer we can share our knowledge, see if we can learn what this sickness is and how to stop it. For now, we rebuild, we rest, we recover.”

Welcome to Ilydan LARP
Join us for for a full weekend of LARP adventure at Goblin Combe Lodge in North Somerset, Friday 29th August to Sunday 31st August. Site will open at 2pm on Friday, with time in for the game starting around 7pm. The game will run all the way through until lunchtime on Sunday, so there's plenty of time for roleplaying and adventure. Ilydan LARP is a small, friendly, adventure focussed fantasy LARP which puts you at the heart of the action. This is our sixth event and we look forward to welcoming players and crew to a full weekend of roleplaying and adventure.

If you're curious to start LARP but have never tried, we are a small, inclusive system which is experienced in involving new people. We also welcome people as crew members, an excellent way to get a feel for the system and cost effective as the only thing you'll pay for is bunkhouse accommodation - the LARP kit and costume will be provided from our club supply.

Never tried Ilydan LARP before and want to know what's special about it? We are a full adventuring system with in game character development, a deep crafting, trading and economic system and a whole world of lore to discover. Our system is simple to pick up but has depth over the long term and designed by LARPers with decades of experience. As a smaller system, with around 25 to 30 players and around 10 to 15 crew, you can participate as much as you want and there is never a dull moment. Our regular players and crew are always willing to involve new people and make sure you get the most out of roleplaying on the Island of Ilydan. There is some bunkhouse style accommodation available, and also a small kitchen on site to help crew and players with their catering.

Tickets are available at multiple levels, including a choice of bunkhouse accommodation or camping, attending as a player or crew member, and a reduction on all tickets for youths / full time students.

Participation is at the discretion of the Ilydan LARP Design Team. We insist that there is respect for one another out of character. Ilydan LARP does not accept any form of sexism, racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia or sexual harassment. Chosen pronouns are honoured both in and out of character, we want all players to know that they can participate in an environment that is inclusive and accepting.

If you want to take part and have any specific needs that would need to be catered for, please contact us in advance so we can work this through in designing the event.

Age for participation
Age 12-15 can only take part if there is an adult on site responsible for them
Age 16-17 can take part with parental permission
Youth discount tickets are available for under 18s and those in full time education. Because we love impoverished students.
