We are pleased to welcome Pulp guitarist Mark Webber to Walthamstow for a live recording of our Music Maps Podcast.
Mark’s story is unique, going from a teenage fan of the band to joining Pulp 10 years later. From discovering the band in 1985, Mark became their first tour manager & ran the Pulp fan club.
Eventually playing guitar & keyboards at gigs & began contributing to songwriting before joining officially in 1995.
He will share stories from his career, the 2025 tour, Glastonbury & his book ‘I’m With Pulp, Are You?’.
Lavishly illustrated & featuring extensive Pulp ephemera, accumulated in the last five decades with the band, the book chronicles the history of Pulp with photographs, flyers, record covers, set lists, stickers, posters, press clippings, merchandise & promotional material.
The book also features a foreword by Jarvis Cocker, and newly commissioned essays by music writers Simon Reynolds and Luke Turner.
