Images and Symbols: A Poetry Workshop on Ekphrasis
Event Information
About this event
In this relaxed poetry workshop, suitable for all abilities, we’ll be looking to the art of Evelyn De Morgan for inspiration. We’ll dip our pens in De Morgan’s jewel-like palette as we step inside the deeply symbolic and profoundly beautiful worlds of her paintings to see what techniques or images we might borrow for our own work. What hidden voices might you unlock?
