Description

The London Leadership Academy would like to invite you to a full day event on the 25 April 2017:

Imagination, Innovation, Transformation

This event will allow participants to consider the tricky issue of how innovation occurs in health care systems.

Drawing on research recently undertaken through the LLINKS Centre in University of Southampton, the event opens with a session that outlines the key observations as to how the NHS does - and does not - support innovation, with a clear emphasis on trying to improve the context so that more positive change can be envisaged and delivered.

The rest of the session, offered by the place-based practice team at Korn Ferry Hay Group, will provide insight from experience in Manchester in terms of the significant devolution agenda that has been pursued across the conurbation. It will provide space and time for those present to think about the systems leadership implications of creating optimal conditions for innovation in the area of place-based care.

This event is aimed at Senior leaders at board and sub-board level, in both providers and CCG's, alongside all those practically involved in supporting change in respect to the practical delivery of STPs.

Please note that this event is free to attend, however there will be a £100 charge if you fail to attend without prior notice of 5 working days . If you are no longer able to attend please contact ljubica.pilja@hee.nhs.uk or send a colleague in your place.
