The 2024 Vincent Strudwick Lecture on Religion in Public Life will be delivered by the Revd. Lucy Winkett.

Lucy Winkett is Rector of St James’s Piccadilly in London, a post she has held since 2010, and prior to that was Canon Precentor of St Paul’s Cathedral. She regularly broadcasts on BBC and is a longstanding contributor to R4 Today Programme’s “Thought for the Day.” She is the author of Our Sound is our Wound (2010) and is also a trained singer.

About the Vincent Strudwick Lecture:

The Rev Canon Vincent Strudwick is a theologian and educationalist, and an Honorary Fellow of Kellogg College.

The Vincent Strudwick Lecture is held annually in honour of his work and brings eminent theologians, other scholars and public figures to speak about religion in public life. The Graduate Theological Foundation is the commissioning sponsor for this annual lecture series, and we are grateful for their generosity.

Refreshments will be served from 5 pm in the Kellogg Hub, followed by the lecture at 5.30 pm. There will be a Q & A session, and a drinks reception following the talk.
