Thu 5 January 2017, 09:00 – 16:00 GMT
A one-day symposium that highlights the application of imaging technology to the study of infection and immunity, and showcases some of the work carried out at the University of Glasgow's Institute of Infection, Immunity and Inflammation.
In addition to a number of internal speakers, we have four external keynotes:
Dr Jake Baum, Reader in Parasite Cell Biology, Imperial College London
Prof Gail McConnell, University of Strathclyde
Dr Juan Fontana, University of Leeds
Dr Marc Bajenoff, Centre d'Immunologie de Marseilles-Luminy, Marseilles
*The above image was taken by Daniel Cozens using a scanning electron microscope and shows an in vitro epithelial cell model of the respiratory tract of cattle developed at the University of Glasgow.
