Artists’ books can take a wide range of forms, including scrolls, fold-outs, concertinas or loose items contained in a box form. The artists’ book invites us to hold it and turn through its pages and allows for many exciting possibilities within its narrative, media, and meaning.
Working directly from your personal sketches of the cityscape at dusk, this workshop invites you to use your imagination to create a personal visual narrative.
We will guide through a variety of printmaking and mixed media techniques, encouraging you to explore the many different forms a book can take through scrolling, cutting, folding and considering layout, design, text, colour and character creation.
This workshop invites you to experiment and create something truly unique and fun!
