Join Nicole Pohl, Editor of the journal Utopian Studies for an interactive workshop exploring diverse visions of Utopia. Nicole will present dreams of the future, from the past and then guide participants through activites designed to liberate them to articulate their own visions of an ideal world.
Unrestrained by time, money, expertise and the laws of physics, you may dream impossible dreams and then collectively discuss, and sketch, how to make these dreams – or at least a part of them – into a reality, in a process called pragmatic utopianism.
This workshop is based on the principles of the Center for Creative Activism (http://artisticactivism.org/)
Nicole Pohl, Professor in English at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, is editor of the journal Utopian Studies, an interdisciplinary journal about all things utopian.
