Wind down your week and let go of stress with a healing journey through sound. Join Sound Therapist & Practitioner Alex Macarte of Golden Ratio Frequencies for a deeply relaxing and restorative Sound Bath designed to ease you into the weekend.

A Sound Bath is an­ immersive, full­-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to invite a gentle, yet powerful, therapeutic and restorative response for body, mind, and spirit. Using instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, percussion, and voice, you can encounter a deep state of relaxation and experience a completely personal inner journey.

Sound, when used in this manner, has been shown to promote relief of stress, physical pain, and emotional release; as well as improving mental health and well being, and encouraging self inquiry and expansion of awareness. Awakening, liberating, and freeing -- these are words that can only partially describe a journey that one must experience first-hand in a Sound Bath.

Building upon his 20 year career as a professional musician, and having trained extensively in 1:1 Sound Therapy at British Academy of Sound Therapy, Alex now brings his comprehensive knowledge and intuitive understanding of sound to the world of holistic health.

Alex is the founder of Golden Ratio Frequencies, a platform for transcendent and therapeutic sound, which also encompasses a boutique record label and an international radio show. Alex has held Sound Baths and immersive sound events across England in collaboration with organizations such as Manchester International Festival, Whitworth Gallery, and BLOC London, as well as at international festivals in Italy and the USA.

Chorlton Health Hub is a collaboration of small businesses using one space, creating a network of health and fitness professionals under one roof. Located in the beautiful and vibrant Chorlton village of Manchester, The Chorlton Health Hub (The Hub) offers a range of services to cater for all aspects of your health.

Due to social distancing spaces will be limited, so advance booking is essential.

Two sessions will be offered, one at 6:00 - 7:00pm and a second at 7:30 - 8:30pm.
