Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Primary Care Training Hub has commissioned East Cheshire NHS Trust to deliver a bespoke Immunisation Update Course on the dates stated below taking place from 12.30pm-4.30pm via MS Teams.

The training sessions are for HCAs/HCSWs and Registered Nurses who are STRICTLY General Practice based within Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin.

The training will cover the following topics:

Current issues in vaccination
Recent epidemiology and management of vaccine preventable diseases for example Flu and COVID-19
Any changes to the National Immunisation Schedule
Child Immunisations
Any changes to legislation relevant to vaccination
Anaphylaxis recognition and management
Review of current practice and identification of areas for improvement
Q&A session for commonly encountered questions
Post session evaluation and assessment
