9.30am - 5pm
Why?
- We want to be build working relationships between immuno-oncology research and industry; share our learning in advanced therapies; be able to respond rapidly to partnership funding opportunities; and stimulate and influence national debate on issues related to immune-oncology and its treatment implications
What?
This 1 day workshop for 150-200 participants from Industry, Academia and NHS Trusts is designed to showcase our current Manchester strengths and encourage new and exciting collaborations.
The event will include speakers from across Immuno Oncology Manchester groups (CRUK Manchester Institute, Lydia Becker Institute of Immunology and Inflammation, University of Manchester, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust Clinicians and more)
It will be in three sessions.
We will hear from the newly established Innovate UK funded, Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre network and the Manchester based iMATCH consortium, which is one of only three UK centres tasked to coordinate a strategy to scale-up advanced therapies for a range of debilitating conditions.
The afternoon session will be focussed on building relationships, embedding ideas and establishing mechanisms for engagement and collaboration.
NB: We would like for SME's to sign up for 3 minute 'elevator pitches' to promote their work within the day - this is on a first-come first-served basis so please indicate with your registration if you would like to do this. If you have any queries please contact us: rachel.chown@manchester.ac.uk
