Impact & Influence for Women: Stepping into the spotlight (2 days)
Wed, 21 Jun 2017, 09:30 – Thu, 22 Jun 2017, 17:30 BST
A specific challenge for women as they progress through their career, is to sustain the belief in their own ability and potential, and to have the confidence to put themselves forward for senior positions. This is particularly challenging in a workplace dominated by men and often the expectation, and requirements of “macho” behaviours. This two-day course is specifically designed for women at middle-management level and addresses these challenges.
Participants will examine the power of physicality, voice and language and will learn tools and strategies to flex these attributes in order to affect the attitude and behaviours of those around them. This will lead to a greater personal understanding of the impact of these skills and how they may be applied to build resilience, step into the spotlight and perform more effectively in the workplace.
The course also offers an opportunity for the participants to practise the learning in relevant and realistic scenarios.
Taught in a practical, safe yet intensive environment, this transformative learning has a maximum participant/tutor ratio of 8:1 plus role-players, providing a critically high level of individual attention, coaching and feedback.
