About this Event
Healthwatch together with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SPFT) and Carers Support West Sussex will be hosting three monthly webinars for relatives and carers with loved ones in Care Homes.
These will enable conversations and connections established at our Sussex wide event in November (Staying Connected with loved ones in Care Homes during the pandemic) to continue.
The second webinar is planned for: Tuesday 23rd February from 3-4.30 pm and will focus on the ‘The Impact on Relatives and Carers from long term separation and restricted visiting in care homes’.

Agenda for part 2 of the webinar (3.45-4.30pm) (Family Carers, Carers Support and Dr Padma and team, along with Healthwatch) :
The absence of meaningful indoor visiting fails to recognise the fundamental role that relationships and love play in a resident’s (and family’s) wellbeing.
Relatives and carers are invited to this closed session to reflect on discussions from Part 1 and hear as many carers views as possible.
Facilitating conversations will be Dr Padma Dalby and the Care Home Well-being Project team.
