Description

A half day training session focussing on the issue of mental health in the context of online interactions and behaviour. This event is designed to help all school staff better understand this complicated and impactful issue.

Drawing on key research articles, this training event will explore the positives and negatives of online behaviour.

Each session will:

  • define what mental health is
  • explore positive and negative implications for online interactions
  • identify key learning opportunities and resources for schools
  • explore the positive benefit of friends
  • provide links to good sources of advice

What will I need?

  • Access to a laptop during the event will be beneficial, although not essential.

Who is this event for?

  • All education practitioners, senior leaders, Designated Senior Person for Child Protection (DSP) all other school staff and governors.

This session will be delivered through the medium of English. Welsh language events are available.

Certificates of attendance will be provided.
