Impact on mental health of CYP living with coercive control

Dr Ian Barron present his findings from his research on the Impact on mental health of children and young people living with coercive control. Dr Barron is a Reader in Trauma Studies at the University of Dundee. He is the Head of Post Graduate Research in the School of Education and Social Work, and is Director of the International Centre for Child Trauma Prevention and Recovery www.icctpr.com. This event will help explore what we mean by the term coercive control, what the impact of coercive control has on children and young people and to present the findings from the crucial and important research on the impact on mental health of children and young people living with coercive control.
