Making an effective plan for impact can considerably increase your likelihood of success. This training will introduce you to two powerful tools that will enable you to think systematically about your pathway to impact, including risks and assumptions you might need to take into account and indicators to help you track your progress. Mark Reed will introduce you to logic models based on his widely used impact planning template, and show how you can use this template to co-produce a more detailed Theory of Change with stakeholders. You will then have an opportunity to see examples of logic models and Theory of Change developed with researchers by Sarah Bowman (Trinity College Dublin). The session concludes with an optional session to create your own impact plan using the methods shown in three break-out rooms, and get feedback from the trainers.
