Impact Practice for Small Charities

This session will help you to review your organisation’s impact practice – that is, the way you plan, measure, communicate and learn from the difference that your work makes.

You will first cover some background on impact practice and then be taken through Measuring Up! – a free online diagnostic tool that you can use to assess your own impact practice and find out how to improve it.

There will be the opportunity to go through the self-assessment with the trainer and other peers and ask any questions you may have.

By the end of the workshop attendees will:

  • Be more aware of how your organisation is doing in terms of its impact practice.

  • Be more confident to take Measuring Up! back to your own organisation.

  • Have improved your knowledge of impact measurement.

Please Note: The Measuring Up! guide Has been designed for organisations with a turnover between £0- £100k or those new to impact practice.

Trainer Bio: Georgina Anstey
Georgina is a Senior Consultant from NCVO Charities Evaluation Services and a project lead in the Inspiring Impact programme.
