How can you leave a lasting impression with audiences by making your research as interesting, memorable and engaging as possible? This live, in-person event will explore how to turn advanced concepts into engaging talks and experiences for the public.

The events team behind New Scientist Live will be joined by Engagement Consultant Dr Jamie Gallagher to explore the sharing of science on a large scale. You will also find out more about how you can share your work at New Scientist Live which this year attracted over 26k visitors across three days.

The session will be followed by a short networking session with drinks and nibbles.

About our speaker

Dr Jamie Gallagher is an engagement trainer and consultant who works with universities, charities, museums and professional bodies helping them to engage more effectively. Working full-time in public engagement for over a decade he has helped improve the reach, profile and impact in almost every academic discipline. Jamie is also a science communicator and can often be found on TV, radio or stage making research accessible.
