An interactive 'hands -on' online workshop that introduces an effective approach for developing intuitive reports and dashboards
About this event
This practical four hour online workshop will provide you with an approach and framework for developing impactful reports with effective commentary and interpretation.
When you've had your head buried in the details of the data it can be difficult to see the wood for the trees and design reports that are robust, coherent and intuitive for stakeholders to read. It's common to take a bottom-up, data-led approach to report design but this rarely hits the mark for stakeholders who may struggle to make the connections you take for granted.
Through a combination of theory, examples and exercises you'll be introduced to a hierarchical needs-based approach to developing reports and a framework for adding effective commentary and interpretation. It's an approach that forces a shift in perspective that will improve the quality and impact of your final reports and ultimately better serve the stakeholders who receive them.
The workshop is facilitated by Steve Hulmes, Sophic's founder and former analyst and manager of analytical teams. For over 14 years Steve has been helping train and coach client analytical teams to improve their productivity and impact and ultimately help them realise their potential. Steve's unique workshops have been attended over 1,500 analysts since 2006 and have been endorsed by some of the UK's most experienced analytical leaders.
The workshop is delivered over Zoom and is limited to just 8 participants to maintain a high level of interactivity and facilitator to participant contact.
