Energy Futures Lab launch their Offshore Renewable Energy Network, led by Dr Rafael Palacios.
Description
The purpose of the event is to facilitate sharing of ideas and explore ways to collaborate across sectors with similar challenges.
This is an opportunity to broaden the discussion on offshore renewables, show the capability at Imperial College London, and explore research and business challenges for the future of offshore renewable energy.
Our speakers have been selected from both the Imperial research community and the industrial and policy sector, bringing a range of perspectives on manufacturing, infrastructure, integration and policy.

The event includes short talks covering research and business activities, challenges, and capabilities in offshore renewable energy.
These will be followed by a panel discussion with all speakers, chaired by Dr Rafael Palacios – closing with networking drinks and a poster session.

Venue
The event is LTUG in the Imperial College Business School, building 17 on the campus map.
The room is best found by entering the College via the main entrance on Exhibition Road (near buildings 17 and 36). The entrance to the Business School is in the far right hand corner of the lobby, once inside just take the elevator to the UG floor and the lecture theatre is just outside the lift.
