Smallfry is a renowned design consultancy that has been providing strategic industrial design services since 1971. Their team has developed commercially successful products across the consumer, medical, industrial, and service industries since their foundation in the UK’s industrial and automotive heartlands.


Steve May-Russell, CEO

Steve May-Russell is a leading Industrial Design and Innovation Consultant and the CEO of Smallfry. Steve has represented the creative industries on the UK Trade & Investment’s bilateral partnerships in East Asia and is regularly invited to speak to international audiences on Innovation and using Design to develop brands. Steve lectures at Cranfield, Cambridge University, Coventry University and Loughborough.

Frequently asked questions

Are food and refreshments provided?

Yes. From 09:30 there will be coffee, tea, pastries and juice to enjoy before we kick off the session at 10:00. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and lunch will be served mid-way through the session. Please notify us of any dietary requirements when you make your booking.

Is there parking at the venue?

We don't provide on-site parking. The closest car park is Millenium Point which is operated by the Local Authority.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, we provide wheelchair-accessible workspaces, toilets and lifts.
