PUSHING BACK: IMPLEMENTING GLOBAL JUSTICE AND GENDER GOALS IN A TIME OF CLOSING SPACE FOR THE JUDICIARY

The panel at this seminar will discuss how access to justice and gender equality are affected by a closing space, how we as legal professionals, including women’s networks, can push back against the closing space trend and how global development goals can provide a tool in expanding access to justice for women and other marginalised groups and preserving the rule of law.
