Description

On Thursday 4 May, 2.30-4 p.m. in the HRI, the Faculty Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Committee is delighted to host a session by Professor Jennifer Saul (Philosophy) on "Implicit Bias and Stereotype Threat in Academia". Jenny will describe two barriers that make it more difficult for members of underrepresented groups to succeed in academia, and discuss measures for overcoming/mitigating these, followed by a Q&A session.

Tea and coffee will be served. This session is open to all staff and postgraduates. It is free but numbers are limited, and we ask that you register on Eventbrite.
