Importance of Building Strong Relationships Between Senior Managers and Chief Officers
ACOSVO Associate Member Event
(For senior managers and ACOSVO Associate Members)
Lunch will be provided
With a thriving membership of senior managers and aspiring Chief Officers, ACOSVO is looking to run a series of events to help nurture the needs of this group.
These events aim to help you explore how you can be at your best in your current role and, if desired, progress your career to undertake ever more senior roles or CO roles in the sector.
This first event in the series will hear input from Debbie Adams, Director Scotland of The Conservation Volunteers. Debbie has recently transitioned from senior manager to CO and will lead discussions, giving her views of the knowledge and skills required to help develop and progress as a manager, and the importance of building strong relationships between senior managers and COs to help organisations thrive and prosper.
Having seen both ‘sides of the coin' Debbie is uniquely positioned to provide insight on manager development and growing the relationship between CO, senior managers and the senior management team, to ensure organisations are communicating effectively with the Board, stakeholders and employees.
This event aims to establish peer learning and support in your developmental journey as a senior manager and to look at what support you and colleagues in similar positions need, all within a confidential space.
This event is aimed at third sector senior managers. Members and Non-Members of ACOSVO - so please circulate to your local networks!
