On the CD: Aidan's music focuses on the human traces left in the landscape, ruminating on issues around landownership and access, from Neolithic times until now. The land surrounding Huntly has been home to an ever-shifting community of dwellers for almost 10,000 years, each leaving their own mark in the landscape - some more pronounced than others. Aidan worked closely with archaeologist Gordon Noble, who contemplates, "this music is inseparable from the flows of landscape change and the fusion of history and place."
