About this event

Join us for an online session introducing a new project led by Ealing and Hounslow CVS in partnership with the NHS, focused on improving support for people experiencing alcohol dependency within underserved communities in Ealing.

This project aims to better understand how cultural background and lived experience affect alcohol use and access to support. We are particularly focusing on Gypsy, Roma, Traveller, Somali, and Tamil communities—groups that are often underrepresented in existing services.

During this session, we’ll explain the aims of the project, why it’s needed, and how we plan to gather insights. We’ll also explore meaningful ways that local community groups and leaders can get involved in the work, whether through outreach, engagement, or simply sharing their knowledge.
