Improving Gender Balance Report Launch
Wed 22 March 2017, 09:30 – 14:00 GMT
Gender balance in physics has been an issue for many years, and the Institute of Physics have published a series of well-publicised reports on the subject.
Our Improving Gender Balance and Drayson pilot projects worked with a group of partner schools to trial different approaches to increasing the proportion of girls studying physics. Both projects came to an end in 2016, and we are publishing a report to set out our findings.
We’d like to invite you to join us at a launch event for the report on 22 March 2017. We’ll take you through the headline findings of the report, and staff from participating schools will give talks about their experience as part of the projects. There will also be lunch and networking opportunities.
Places are limited so please register as soon as possible. We hope to see you there.
