Event description

In September 2014, Ofsted introduced an additional judgement for early years in primary schools. Quality and standards in the early years are now reported explicitly in section five inspection reports. This course is designed to help you understand best practice in ensuring that provision is having a positive impact on your children.

At this course you will learn:

  • a brief overview of Ofsted’s judgement on early years
  • what outstanding provision looks like and how to get there
  • practical approaches for evaluating impact and how to involve the whole team
  • to make accurate judgements and plan measurable outcomes for achievement
  • different types of evidence including helpful data
  • different ways to monitor the impact of your improvements and different groups of learners
  • manageable but effective record keeping
