Improving Sport Horse Performance: Bridging the Gap Between Science and Practice

The University of Central Lancashire proudly invites you to join us at Myerscough College for a day of demonstrations from leading equine researchers. This event will showcase research, which aims to improve sport horse performance and welfare. Guest speakers include Dr. Hilary Clayton and Simon Curtis, who will provide demonstrations on how their ground-breaking research can be applied in practice. The event will also feature demonstrations from two of UCLan’s PhD researchers, who will present the latest research and technology in equine biomechanics and its application to training and equestrian surfaces.

The event will be held at the Myerscough College International Arena, where free parking is available on site. Directions are avaliable on the Myerscough College website

Lunch and refreshments will be available throughout the day for purchase at Myerscough’s Equine Café.
