Improving the physical health of people with severe mental illness

As part of the National Mental Health Week, The Mental Health Clinical Networks (Midlands and East), in partnership with The National Adult Mental Health Team , are delighted to be hosting an event focussing on Improving the Physical Health of people with Severe Mental Illness

The event will be chaired by Tim Kendall, National Clinical Director for Mental Health, NHS England.

The event intends to provide attendees with the opportunity to hear about the recently published national guidance, what this means to primary care, key learning from work in acute mental health services, and well as relevant patient stories and case studies.

There will also be the opportunity for STP based workshops in the afternoon
