Description

Come and find out more about what Morley Drama has to offer in Higher Education. Join director Chloe Stephens for a fun hour and a half taster workshop.

You will explore how we can use games and play in improvisation as actors. You will learn how theatre games can be used as a powerful and playful tool for exploration and discovery in a safe, nurturing and fun environment. Suitable for all levels.

The workshop will involve some practical work, please come in comfortable clothes that you can move in.

This is a drop in session and you are encouraged to join the workshop whenever you can make it

Higher Education and Morley’s Higher National Diplomas

A HND is a work related or vocational qualification which is the equivalent to the first two years of a degree. They focus on helping you to develop the higher level practical skills that you will need to work in a specific industry.

Tutor Bio - Chloe Stevens

Chloe Stephens started her career working in Casting at Shakespeare’s Globe, and went on to work in the Casting and Contracts department at the Royal National Theatre. She has a BA in Drama and Theatre Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London and an MA in Movement: Directing & Teaching from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Chloe has taught at Mountview Academy, the BRIT school, Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Rose Bruford and ran the full time Foundation in Acting at ALRA from 2016-17. She now works as the Programme Manager for Performing Arts at Morley College. Her interests lie in playful and collaborative practice and the use of Michael Chekhov technique in devised theatre.
