Event description

Description

A fun and physical approach to storytelling where you will discover how to turn personal stories into short performances. This online workshop gives you basic tools to tell stories in imaginative ways. What stories blow you away?

The session includes:

  • Games and warm-ups
  • Improvisation training
  • Storytelling techniques

Suitable for beginners, musicians, performers and/or directors and anyone interested in storytelling.

Although this is a digital course, spaces are limited. The group will be small so we can really connect with each other. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. We understand that COVID-19 has impacted people's economy so you can also pay in instalments if that is more suitable.

You will need access to Zoom (www.zoom.us), and internet connection. We'll be in touch ahead of the event by email, with a link and more information.

Do you have questions? Please don't hesitate to get in touch. Bookings are now open and places can be secured by emailing infoanahattheatre@gmail.com or booking online.

Workshop facilitator: Andrea Cabrera Luna

Andrea trained as an actor at the National School of Performing Arts in Mexico City and read English Literature and a MA in Performance and Culture at Goldsmiths College, University of London. Inspired by creative expression, storytelling and movement Andrea founded Anahat Theatre in 2010.
