Improvisation – Drama Workshop

Open workshop for all abilities, to learn basic improvisation techniques in an informal atmosphere. Discover your own spontaneity, create a wide range of characters, interact as a team, devise instant plots and explore the magic of improvisation. Introducing new games to stimulate the imagination and group interaction.

This event is hosted by Martine Shackerley-Bennett, an experienced practitioner who performed with ‘Thin Air’ Improvisation Company for twelve years. Studied Improvisation with ‘The Committee’ in San Francisco under the great American Director Del Close. Performances include working in theatres, clubs, pubs and numerous festival including many performances at Glastonbury. Also writer/director of Bristol Experimental Theatre Company, Motley Comedia del Arte Theatre, Mildenhall Fringe and Natural Theatre.
