About this event

Hobbies • DIY

This is a weekly group that meets on Tuesday on zoom to do hand embroidery, share our current projects, and talk. This is a relaxed group that allows you to work on your projects, as well as discuss embroidery techniques with other people.

Everyone is welcome: from beginners to those who are advanced or at any level in embroidery. You do not need prior experience to be a part of this group. Register once and attend as many sessions as you like throughout the year. You'll receive weekly reminder emails with a Zoom link. You'll also gain access to our private (optional) Facebook group - a place to share photos, resources, and stay connected between gatherings.

Recommended supply list:

something to sew on: fabric, a piece of clothing, paper, or a painting!

a hand sewing needle

embroidery floss or pearl cotton

snips or scissors

an embroidery hoop (optional)

This creative, international group has been ongoing since June 2020 (originally created by Nancy Gaimon). When we are not meeting on Zoom often we chat in our private Facebook group. There will be brief breaks and downtime (such as around the holidays), but the aim for this group is to support each other and be productive throughout the year.
