Improvising Shakespeare: Big ideas (with Jules Munns)
Event Information
About this Event
Please note: this is a participatory workshop and is not recorded
The delight of Shakespearean improv is that it can really mean something. Sure, it can be fart jokes and wordplay, but it can also be uplifting, sad, surprising or any number of other things. It can examine how we want to be in the world and let us know that for that sweet second, we are not alone in the universe.
In this workshop, you will use Shakespearean language and scenes to lean into the things you care about, to make scenes which matter. Note: there may also be fart jokes
Part of a series of stand-alone online workshops run by members of Impromptu Shakespeare. Join us as we delve into the glorious details of improvising the Bard! Pick a workshop that takes your fancy, or come to them all and geek out!
