IN-BETWEENING: A guided journalling workshop from More To Life

Grab a notepad, light some candles, and settle in for an hour of reflective journalling for perspective, clarity, and faith when you’re in the messy middle—that awkward, in-between phase when you’ve outgrown the old you, but the new you hasn’t quite arrived...

Who's this for?
Recovering high achievers and independent spirits who are feeling stuck, scattered or vulnerable as they navigate the in-between. Whether it’s a big life transition, a career pivot, or the beginnings of a new identity.

Maybe...

  • You’ve worked out what you don’t want. You’ve dared to dream. But your vision either feels hazy, or far away.
  • You’re stepping into a new identity (going freelance, launching a business, starting a new role, forging a different career path) that still doesn’t quite feel like yours.
  • Life has pushed all your perfectly laid plans off track—whether it’s a layoff, a breakup, or a role that hasn’t met your expectations. You're wondering, what now?
  • Overwhelm, procrastination, perfectionism or “I don’t have the time/energy/money” are getting in the way of making your big ideas happen.
  • Your sense of self feels vulnerable; your confidence or courage has been knocked.

So what do you do when where you want to be feels so far from where you are now?

How do you stay calm, maintain momentum and focus, and keep faith?

And what could it look like to embrace the in-betweening?

What to expect

We'll be meeting via Zoom, where we'll spend an hour working through a series of reflective journalling prompts, perspectives from coaching psychology, and practical exercises to help you in your in-betweening phase.

You can get as interactive as you like. You're welcome to kick back and scribble away with your camera off (without worrying about your resting journalling face). Equally, you're welcome to use the chat function to share what's coming up for you, chat to other participants, or ask questions.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have some valuable insights, ideas and intentions.

What people have said about previous workshops

I’ve always found journaling tricky, but this hour let me slow down, reflect, and leave with steps to make work (and life) better.”

“Your prompts certainly got me thinking in ways that I never have before. Also love how you combine psychology with coaching. I’ve worked with coaches before that have been great in my business, but when it came to tackling mindset stuff and getting that little bit deeper they lacked. It’s something I’d love to learn more about!”

“Lucia has a rare gift for creating calm, thoughtful, grounding space. I came with a notebook, a pen, a cup of tea… and a lot of anxiety. I left with more presence, clarity, and a few very actionable insights. It was exactly what I needed. Lucia’s way of guiding the group helped me notice things I hadn’t slowed down enough to see. Proposed journaling prompts opened up questions I didn’t know I needed to ask. We listened to each other, and something about the way people shared made me feel more grounded in my own experience."
