In Business - Brexit - The Opportunities and Challenges for Business
Tue 24 January 2017, 08:30 – 10:30 GMT
MEMBER ONLY EVENT. For more information on membership please email firstname.lastname@example.org
In the wake of the UK vote to leave the EU, Chamber businesses are now considering the opportunities and challenges inherent in the political and economic transition that lies ahead.
As we welcome in the New Year, Chamber members are rightly focused on the impact of this transition on their own business models and prospects. At the same time, they expect HM Government and the Bank of England to deliver stability of markets, clarity on the political timetable for transition, and firm action on those matters that are entirely within Westminster’s gift.
Our next In Business will welcome representatives from The British Chamber of Commerce (BCC) and one of our accredited partners Money Corp.
The BCC will update delegates on the core issues identified by Chamber members following the referendum, and confirmed by early polling since. The feedback from this talk will help inform the principles that the Chamber Network believes should guide the work of the Government as it approaches the negotiations on the UK’s exit from the European Union.
Our representative from Money Corp will provide an introduction into the foreign exchange market and the volatility and market movement Pre & Post Brexit. Delegates will learn about the products Money Corp offer and how they can help your business minimise foreign exchange risk.
