In Conversation: Christopher Raeburn & Graeme Raeburn
Tue 6 December 2016, 19:00 – 21:00 GMT
Brothers Christopher and Graeme Raeburn reflect on the rise of two cutting-edge fashion and sportswear brands in an intimate and unscripted setting.
Christopher Raeburn’s pioneering work has brought sustainable design to a mainstream fashion audience. His eponymous label has over sixty stockists worldwide and is involved in numerous technology, performance and craft-focussed collaborations with Fred Perry, Moncler and Disney, among many others. In 2015 Christopher was awarded Best Emerging Designer at the GQ Men of the Year Awards and is also Artistic Director of Victorinox.
Graeme Raeburn is Innovation Designer at cult cycling brand Rapha. Like his brother, Graeme is an alumni of The Royal College of Art, where he specialised in womenswear. He joined Christopher setting up his small design studio in which they produced technical and high-fashion apparel from military surplus fabrics, as well as luggage. After an introduction through mutual friends, Graeme became Rapha’s thirteenth employee, and has seen the company grow into the world’s most coveted premium roadwear brand.
