Join NMC Chief Executive Andrea Sutcliffe in conversation with The Guardian’s David Brindle discussing the biggest issues facing health, social care and the role of professional regulation.
What to expect:
You will be able to meet our Council and Executive team and hear from people at the point of care in health and social care, both those receiving care and those delivering it, as well as senior leaders in the field, followed by a lively Q&A when you’ll get the chance to ask our panel questions.
We will be publishing our annual reports, so you can find out more about what we have been doing. We’ll also set out for the first time the proposed themes for our brand new five year strategy and give you the chance to have your say on the future direction of the NMC.
We’re the independent regulator for nurses and midwives in the UK, and nursing associates in England. Better and safer care for people is at the heart of what we do.
We also set the standards which nurses, midwives and nursing associates must meet to be registered, including for education and training, the Code and revalidation.
