Description

We’d like to invite you to a conversation with Bill Janeway, co-founder of the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
Bill Janeway is one of the world’s most influential thinkers on innovation. He has been a venture capitalist and investor in many of Silicon Valley’s most successful companies, and more recently instrumental in INET, the Institute for New Economic Thinking. His recent book Doing Capitalism in the Innovation Economy: Markets, Speculation and the State (Cambridge University Press, 2012), has shaped thinking on the roles of the state and financial speculation in driving economic change. The conversation will focus on the ideas in the book – and where they take us next.
Geoff Mulgan, CEO of Nesta, will interview Bill and there will be the opportunity to submit a question when registering above and via a Q&A session at the event itself.
Please note: Registration will open at 17:00 with the event closing at 18:30 followed by a drinks reception until 19:30.
