Book your free place to join us at Wellesbourne Library as librarian Aimee Hawkins hosts a question and answer session with author Celia Rees about her books and writing. This conversational event will offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from Celia, with time at the end for the audience to ask their own questions. Attendees will also have the chance to purchase copies of Celia’s books. This is the perfect event for those taking part in our Book Bingo Reading Challenge as we celebrate February's book category 'A book you loved as a child', as Celia has written over 20 books for young adults!


About the author

Celia Rees has written over twenty books for Young Adults and has an international reputation in this field. Her books have been translated into 28 languages and havebeen shortlisted for national book awards in Britain and abroad. Her first adult title, Miss Graham’s Cold War Cook Book (paperback edition published as Miss Graham’s War), was published by HarperCollins in 2021. She intends to continue writing for an adult readership. Her preferred genre are spy fiction and crime. Celia lives in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. www.celiarees.com
