Time: Evening. Arrivals from 18.30, event concludes at 21.00.

Dawn Butler MP has built her career on challenging inequality and speaking truth to power. The daughter of Windrush-generation parents and a former trade union activist, she has become a trailblazer in Westminster:
- The first Black woman to speak as a minister at the despatch box
- A champion of British Sign Language recognition
- A bold critic of dishonesty in politics and discriminatory policing
Now, as the first Black woman on the Commons Panel of Chairs and a likely contender for Labour’s nomination for Mayor of London, Dawn shares the lessons she has learned about creating change, building community, and leading with courage.
